Each flight can carry up to four people with an absolute maximum baggage weight of 100 pounds per person, which includes clothes, drinks and fishing gear. Since Garden Island Lodge is a full service American Plan lodge and supplies almost everything you need, it is highly unlikely you will need more than 50 pounds of baggage. If you chose to bring more than 100 pounds per person, it means a second flight will be needed, which will double your cost.
Lakeland requires a $200 reservation payment per group with balance due on arrival. This reservation payment is separate from the reservation payment required by Garden Island lodge. The price is subject to change due to fluctuating fuel cost. As of December 10/2008, the cost is $391.02 one way. This will most likely change.
