Garden Island Lodge will no longer be selling fishing licenses at the lodge. You can buy them at a bait shop in Temagami or Haileybury.
You can also purchase your fishing license and outdoor card on-line. Below is the information you need.
Fishing Licenses
While fishing in Ontario, you are required to have a Non-Canadian Resident Outdoors Card and an Ontario Fishing License. The Non-Canadian Resident Outdoors Card, implemented in 2009, is $9.68 and valid for 3 years.
If you have fished in Ontario since 2009, and have not yet received your outdoors card in the mail, call the Ministry of Natural Resources at 1-800-387-7011 to inquire on the status of your card. If you do not bring this card with you, you will be required to purchase a new card. To buy a card or renew expired outdoor cards click here
The fishing licenses are as follows:
$50.15 - 8-day regular sport license
$28.84 - 8-day conservation license
$78.18 - Seasonal regular sport license
$48.26 - Seasonal conservation license
